So with all the excitement of the Le Mans classic , there's more interest in the history of certain Porsche 917 chassis numbers. It was suggested that 3 917s would attend, but unfortunately its only the Bobby Rahal car. In case you are interested, here are the details of the 3 cars that should have been at Le Mans Classic -

917.021 Bobby Rahal (Martini Hippy car)

917.020 Bill Noon (Symbolic Motors) - Did not arrive at Le Mans Classics

917.026 Kevin Jeannette (Gunnar Racing) - Did not arrive at Le Mans Classics
